At the heart of The Public Works is our love of great product. From the beginning, the plan for our company has been to engage in unique, quality product design and development, informed by a deep understanding of brand, based on marketing research and including constant involvement of “the public” to inform the process (hence, the name, “The Public Works”). Our goal has been to surround this core competence with in-house prototyping capabilities while providing the needed marketing assets to successfully launch products into the marketplace.

The Public Works complements its core marketing capabilities with in-house prototyping capabilities.  We start the ideation process with hand-drawn sketches, proceed to industrial design vector images, and then develop the designs in CAD, with stress analysis where appropriate in SolidWorks.  We design and engineer an amazing array of projects: from complex sporting goods, to a broad collection of brand infrastructure pieces, to beautiful, large public art installations.
