Bear Naked

project overview

“Frank and the crew did an excellent job taking designs and bringing them to life. We only have the capability to take environmental pieces to a certain level and Public Works brought it to the next. They had an extremely tight timeline and delivered on time and on budget. They bring a certain aesthetic that fit our client perfectly.”

- Michael White, Creative Director, On Board Experiential Marketing

Knowing how much we bring to the table on each individual project, On Board Experiential Marketing asked The Public Works to help bring to life a refined design for a brand experience kiosk for Bear Naked.  Bear Naked is the creator of a variety of all natural granola, trail mix, cereals and cookies.

The Public Works created a main sampling kiosk, framed out of beetle kill pine and skinned with corrugated steel. The back panel of the kiosk holds five of Bear Naked’s main raw ingredients, including almonds, walnuts, pecans, flax seed, and rolled oats.  This allows consumers to see the natural goodness that goes into the product. The Public Works completed the front of the kiosk with a custom sign CNC’d in our solar-powered shop in Evergreen, Colorado, and hand-painted to match Bear Naked’s brand colors. The secondary shelf, which we also framed out of beetle kill pine, was designed to hold standing product bags for easy viewing and interaction. Lastly, to round out the build, we constructed a hanging rack for bagged product. Just as we wrapped fabrication, the crew from On Board came down to our shop at Battery621, checked out the finished product, and helped load their new trailer (wrapped by our friends at Ink Monstr) so they could hit the road to the Teva Games.
